I didn't go to one, but my daughter had hers last year. I would post a photo of her in her dress but this is an open forum so I won't.

Her dress was a long black strapless one pulled up on one hip with some silver sequins. she did look gorgeous.

There are shops around here that sell nothing but prom dresses...they are absolutely beautiful too.

We bought our grandson a 3 piece grey suit with black edging round the collar and pockets...he looks dead grown up.
Its not for a few weeks yet so he can wait for the shirt, tie and shoes.
I would love to see a photo Ali but it's best not to post one....I dont mind showing me on a forum but I would never show my grandson.

I got my daughters off the internet for £120 but some she liked were like £300 Shocked

Not a clue what they did at my school as I left on my fifteenth birthday ... three months before I officially could.
What you gonna do about it was my attitude.
By the time my mates left I already had a flat and was making a living.

I would have loved to have gone to a prom or a leavers ball. Cool

What was your dress like Gabby, do you still have it? Some of the ones I have seen are so beautiful I think if I had one I would have kept it and handed it down.

It was a strapless deep pink maxi dress... layered from the hips to the floor.......... it was the dogs bollox and the envy of many, lol.............. no, not got it now..... I gave it away a few years later to a girl that couldn't afford a decent dress for her 'do'....... she cried when she put it on! lol love

Do you have a pic of the dress or a similer dress?? I'd have loved a Leavers Ball!! We had fuck all when we left. Getting our shirts covered in biro was about as exciting as it got for us. Neutral

I got my uniform written all over at the end of primary and again at the end of senior school...... still got them! Very Happy
